Plaques and Awards , Donor Walls

In 2009, the public library in Slave Lake approached us looking for donor recognition wall. They were looking for something with depth, and hoping to involve some photography displaying the area, but the available space was limited. After some thought, the Behrends concept was to use a unique play on perspective to celebrate both Slave Lake’s natural beauty and the generosity of the donors. From the right angle, the photographic portions of the panels align, displaying a striking shot of Slave Lake’s namesake. Viewed from straight on, the various levels of donorship are displayed. This innovative, interactive approach was a huge success for the public library.
